1. Location of your apartment
In the wonderful old town of Straubing, in a listed building, you will find your exclusive 45 sqm old town loft with exposed roof beams that offer an extraordinary ambience. The apartment is on the 2nd floor.
This means you can enjoy an undisturbed holiday.

2. Equipment Entertainment
Cable Internet high-speed connection with WLAN and cable TV, full HD flatscreen TV with 124 cm screen diagonal with USB and Ethernet connections, Apple TV, a Google Chromecast, an XBox 360 with Kinect and lots of games, as well as various DVDs. For bookworms, the city library is only 300 meters away.

3. A feel-good atmosphere
You can relax perfectly on your comfortable L-shaped couch with an ottoman opposite. There is also a desk with a chair and a dining table with four more chairs. The whole apartment is lovingly furnished and allows you to create a special atmosphere as desired. When you bathe the apartment in candlelight in the evening, you will have created a unique, romantic atmosphere in combination with the exposed roof beams. You will absolutely enjoy this time.

4. Own kitchen
The kitchen has an oven with a 4-ring ceramic hob, a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment. There is also a coffee machine, as well as pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and glasses.

5. Separate bathroom and toilet
The bathroom and toilet are separate, which is extremely practical. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower head. As the bathtub is in the sloping roof, you may have to shower sitting or kneeling. This has been perfectly accepted by all of our guests so far. Simply relax and enjoy a bubble bath by candlelight.

6. Parking
These are available free of charge in the immediate vicinity (Am Hagen, Stadtwerke), as well as for a fee in the Paul underground car park. The entrance and the entrance/exit to the underground car park are directly opposite the entrance to your holiday home (6 meters).

7. Lots of restaurants
The Klarl - 140 meters away. A beautiful wine bar, which often offers live music in the romantic backyard in the summer.

Zum Bayerischen Löwen - 110 meters away. Traditional, hearty inn with beer garden. Hearty food and a cool beer invite you to linger.

La Piccola - 160 meters away. Italian restaurant with pizza, pasta, meat and fish dishes.

Iridion - 180 meters away. Greek restaurant with a very nice ambience and very good food.

La Cueva - 350 meters away. Mexican restaurant for fans of South American cuisine.

Restaurant Kyoto - 120 meters away. The Japanese running sushi restaurant offers very good and inexpensive lunch at a flat rate.

Straubinger Stein - 350 meters away. In this steakhouse your steak is prepared on a lava stone.

Wirtshaus zum Geiss - 650 meters away. Angela Merkel and Nicolas Sarkozy have dined in the oldest inn in Straubing (since 1462 AD).

Brusketteria - 180 meters away. Spanish restaurant with a fantastic roof terrace, which is particularly inviting in the summer months. One of my favorites.

This is really just a tiny list of restaurants. There are many, many more in the immediate area. The town square is full of life in the summer, until the evening hours and you definitely won't have to eat anywhere twice ; ) and if you book with me, you can be sure that I have some really hot insider tips in store for you.

8. Lots of shopping opportunities
It would be pointless to list all the individual shops here. You will find a huge selection of shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity, as your apartment is located at the beginning of the historic town square.

9. Art & Culture
Whether the Carmelite Church of the Holy Spirit (60m away), the Basilica of St. James (500m), the Ursuline Church (120m), the Former Jesuit Church (65m), the Church of St. Peter (1400m) and many, many more Church/Historical places and buildings, you have them all within walking distance - often right in front of the
front door.

You can also get an overview from the historic Straubing town tower (just 300m away). The town hall, the Holy Trinity Column, the town fortifications and the town square with fountain are right on your doorstep.

In the Gäubodenmuseum (just 3 streets away) you can admire the world-famous Straubing Roman treasure and unique Bavarian jewelry and weapons.

The Duke's Castle is also just 160 metres away, situated on the idyllic Danube.

If you enjoy going to the theater, we have a special treat for you. The Paul Theater is located directly opposite the entrance to your apartment (7 meters) and impresses with its changing program on 2 stages. The Theater am Hagen is also just a short walk away (950 meters) and has a large selection of programs. Opera, operetta, musicals, plays and concerts - everything is presented there.

10. Leisure & Entertainment
The Danube is just a few meters away and is ideal for walks and bike rides. Fishing enthusiasts will also get their money's worth here. If you need to rent bikes, just send me a short message. The parking space for your bikes is already included in the price of the apartment.

If you feel like racing, you can test your driving skills at the Straubing kart racing track (just 5.6 km away).

You can go ice skating where the Straubing Tigers ice hockey pros play - in the ice stadium at the Pulverturm (just 975 meters away). There you can also watch a Straubing Tigers game and enjoy the unique 1st Bundesliga atmosphere.

Want even more professional sport? Then just visit the Bundesliga Boxclub Straubing (only 2.1 km away) and watch exciting boxing matches.

For horse racing enthusiasts, the Straubing race track (1.8 km away) is the perfect place. Place your bet there and get excited.

Or you can simply enjoy a good film in the Citydom (only 500 meters away).

The zoo in Straubing (2.7 km away) can be reached within half an hour on foot. The Straubing climbing park is also located there.

11. Gäubodenvolksfest & East Bavaria Show
With over a million visitors, the Straubing Folk Festival is one of the largest folk festivals in Bavaria. In contrast to the Munich Oktoberfest, there are many local visitors here. Here you can feel and experience the unique, original tradition of the folk festivals. Just a few minutes' walk away.

Walhalla (38 km) King Ludwig's magnificent building with a magnificent view.

Liberation Hall in Kehlheim and Weltenburg Monastery (68 km). Visit the Liberation Hall in Kehlheim and take a boat trip to the world-famous Weltenburg Monastery.

Landshut (61km). Landshut's old town is considered to be one of the most architecturally significant and best-preserved historic city centers in Germany and has already been nominated for World Heritage status.

Regensburg (43km). A trip to the Upper Palatinate. This beautiful city invites you to explore. Whether for those interested in history, culture or just for shopping and enjoying.
